Events Team - Edmonton
Crave is a bakery founded in 2004 by sisters Carolyne and Jodi, who have a passion for baking. Crave has grown to six locations and 85 employees who share that passion and today is a leading retail bakery brand. In addition to retail bakeries, Crave also produces consumer packaged goods that can be found on grocery store shelves in Western Canada.
Crave is hiring a part-time event team to travel in and around Edmonton to drive the brand image and product understanding in their regions. The goal is to reach new consumers, increase sales, and manage the Crave brand. This includes direct contact with consumers and customers, inviting products tasting, and working at events to ensure an unforgettable brand experience for consumers.
A successful candidate will be expected to deliver on the following core responsibilities:
BE A BRAND AND PRODUCT AMBASSADOR
• Live and breathe the brand and company values, representing the brand in a premium way through interactions with consumers and customers. • Grow the user base by inviting positive experiences and awareness of Crave, competently answering any questions from consumers. • Work at events to help ensure an unforgettable brand experience for consumers.
EXECUTIONAL EXCELLENCE
• Deliver execution excellence and show love for the details in all areas of your role. • Share ideas and collaborate with the team through regular face-to-face interactions in various venues, including but not limited to Grocery Stores and Farmer’s Markets. • Plan and report your activities promptly and with accuracy. • Contribute to developing the Crave media business by providing local insights, trends and opportunities.
What we are looking for:
• Passionate about the Crave brand and product. • Excellent communication skills. • Charismatic, energetic, positive, and outgoing personality. • Highly approachable and social with the ability to relate to different people on many occasions. • Encompass a creative mindset and an entrepreneurial spirit with a high sense of responsibility. • Ability to manage part-time work, ideally available to work evenings and weekends. • An affinity and desire to learn and apply a new range of skills, especially marketing, and sales. • Value flexible working hours and love working in a variety of environments. • Valid Canadian driver’s license with a clear abstract, access to vehicle for travel. • Willingness to travel outside of Calgary, in which all travel expenses will be covered.
