This cherished recipe holds a special place in our hearts. Growing up on our family farm in High River, Alberta, we made these delicious butter tarts alongside our Mom, Aunts, and Grandma. Featuring a flaky pastry crust filled with a rich, caramelized butter filling, our tarts are baked with both raisins and currants. Why the combination? We simply couldn’t choose between the two, and it turns out that this mix creates an incredibly tasty treat!
