People say that the kitchen is the heart and soul of a home – and we couldn’t agree more. We love being in the kitchen. It’s where we naturally gather, connect with our family and friends, and nourish our bodies. For as long as we can remember, the kitchen is where we feel most creative and inspired to try new things.
When we were kids, growing up on the farm, the kitchen was the epicentre of our home. As a family, we were always drawn to the kitchen – to help prepare a meal or set the table – there was always something to do. Friends and neighbours often gathered around our kitchen table to share stories or simply enjoy a cup of coffee. And of course, the farm kitchen is where we discovered our passion for baking.
The name of the McIntyre farm cattle brand is 7D Quarter Circle. Although we’re city dwellers now, we think it’s the perfect name for the new community kitchen at Crave Kensington.
Inspired by the kitchen on our family farm, 7D Quarter Circle Kitchen is a place where people gather, learn a new recipe or baking technique and share experiences. Interested in learning the basics of cake decorating? Or how to bake delicious and wholesome snacks for back-to-school lunches? Click here to view our complete list of workshops.
